The first entry!

My goodness I have been putting this thing off. I wanted to start this blog about crafting, music, cooking and life in general but I felt overwhelmed by all the possibilities. And who would even want to read this stuff. Oh well, Here it is. I wanted to share some of my creations. The first are pictures of some dolls I made when I was a kid that could have easily made it to the craft fail blog: ...a favorite of mine :)

Ok, So the doll above is the first one I remember making with my Grandma's help. I must have been about 4 or 5. I definitely cut the shirt out. You can tell by the perfect edge.

So here is my own work! No help here...Holy crap I think that is obvious. I know I was somewhere between 8 and 10...I had this obsession with mice dressed as women. Some days I wonder if my hand stitching is any better. I go willy nilly and poke the crap out of my fingers.
Judging by the face this was made around the same time as the mouse. I was much better at sketching than sewing it seems. This doll doesn't look too bad but wait......

Oh no! Who threw the hooker off of the building?!  Well, that seems to be enough for today! I will post again soon for anyone reading out there :)

  1. I've seen your latest work and I must say, you have vastly improved! The character and charm of the originals have given way to some of the most creative dolls I have ever seen...
